In 1892, President Lincoln signed legislation to establish the Department of Agriculture. He called it "the people's department" since, at that time 90% of Americans were farmers.

At GlG farm we are focusing on keeping that Heritage alive with a farm that is able to produce, healthy vegetables without the use of chemicals, produced by horse power to increase sustainable farming, bread making using wooden bake oven to keep a tradition, a way of life and an Heritage pass on by our fathers.
